Situated in the shadow of the majestic Cairngorm Mountains, our Mindfulness Day Retreat offers a peaceful sanctuary away from the pace and pressures of everyday life. From the moment you arrive, you are invited to slow down, breathe deeply, and immerse yourself in the restorative rhythms of nature. Guided forest bathing experiences encourage you to fully engage your senses, fostering presence, calm, and a renewed connection to the natural world. Gentle breathwork sessions support nervous system regulation, helping to release tension and restore inner balance. At the heart of the retreat are mindful interactions with our calm, intuitive horses, whose quiet presence invites grounded awareness, emotional reflection, and authentic connection. No prior experience with horses is required—these sessions are about observation, attunement, and shared stillness rather than riding. Throughout the day, there is space for reflection, gentle movement, and moments of silence, allowing insights to emerge naturally. You will leave feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and reconnected—not only to nature, but to yourself—carrying a clearer mind, a lighter body, and a more profound sense of wellbeing back into the world. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Notice Period: - If you are unable to attend, please provide at least 1 week’s notice. This allows us time to re-advertise your spot. For recurring retreats, if you prefer to reschedule rather than cancel, we will be happy to accommodate an alternative date that aligns with your schedule. Organiser Cancellations: - If the organisers cancel a retreat, you will be notified as soon as possible, and a full refund will be issued within 48 hours of notification. Refunds: - If you provide at least 1 week’s notice and we can fill your spot, you will receive a full refund of the balance paid. Our retreats include a 25% non-refundable deposit. If you cancel and we are unable to fill your space, any additional balances (minus the deposit) will be refunded within 48 hours of confirming your bank details. A £25 administrative fee will apply to the processing of cancellations and related refunds. Emergency Exceptions: - We understand that emergencies can happen. If you believe your situation qualifies as an emergency, please get in touch with us at scotlandsequestrianretreat@gmail.com to discuss potential exceptions.
