Located in the centre of the Carrbridge, 7 miles north of Aviemore, 23 miles south of Inverness , just off the main A9 on the alternative Perth-Inverness tourist route. We are a perfect touring base for the Cairngorms and beyond and just 4 miles from the Croft.
With a range of 14 comfortable bedrooms for single budget travellers, families enjoying a Highland vacation, or couples and groups making the most of our excellent location, the Cairn has everything you need.

Camping
For those who wish to fully immerse themselves in the peace and simplicity of the Highlands, we offer the option to camp here at Scotland’s Equestrian Retreat.
You are welcome to stay in our cosy bell tent, available at £10 per person, per night, offering a simple yet special way to rest under canvas and wake to the gentle presence of the horses.
Alternatively, you are very welcome to bring your own tent(s), with camping available at £5 per person, per night.
Our camping area is intentionally kept simple and close to nature. Facilities include a compost toilet, with fresh drinking water available at the croft. There is also a picnic bench and a fire pit, perfect for relaxed outdoor meals and quiet evenings under the open sky.
This is not polished or commercial camping — it is a chance to slow down, reconnect, and experience the land in its most natural and grounding form.
